In 2019, EIZO's railway monitor "DuraVision FDF2123W" was adopted for the train boarding and alighting monitoring system of Tokyu Corporation. Four units of the "FDF2123W" were installed vertically on each platform housing, displaying the camera footage set up within the platform. This is used by crew members to confirm the boarding and alighting of passengers and to safely close the doors of the train. We spoke with the person in charge of equipment selection, as well as the operators who actually use the "FDF2123W" for boarding and alighting confirmation, to understand the reasons for selection and their experiences after implementation.
